I have joined the kindness movement.
The kindness organization is a non-profit organization dedicated to encouraging and empowering people to practice kindness in their everyday lives. They also provide individuals and groups with tools, ideas, projects and events that help make the world a kinder place. The five values of the organization are: Curiosity, Integrity, Inclusivity, Intentionality, and Data-driven.
I have joined the kindness movement, from the many acts of kindness that are in the website I have done the following ones: Reach someone and ask how are they doing,
Help a family member around the house, Share a positive news story, Share a good book. Doing these acts felt good because I knew by doing these I could help myself and those around me. My favorite act was to reach out to someone and ask how are they doing because maybe they are going trough a difficult situation and needed another person to talk with.
There are different ways to be kinder to my body like drink more water instead of soda or energy drinks, eat more healthy food and not eat junk food frequently. One activity I can do to be kinder to my heart is to do cycling which is one of the few things I like to do. The last thing I can do to be kinder to my muscles is to do sit-ups, push-ups and squat, it can be tiring but is does not hurt to try and be kinder to myself.
